In todayโs fast-moving world, somewhere along the way, we are gradually losing touch with spaces that once helped communities feel connected โ to culture, to expression, to identity, and to one another.
For many young people today, Indian classical arts are becoming distant, unfamiliar, or inaccessible. Not because this generation lacks interest or sensitivity, but because meaningful exposure and cultural spaces are steadily reducing around them.
At the same time, many talented young artists continue to struggle with limited opportunities, lack of sustainable platforms, and a culture where artistic work is often expected to happen only for โexposureโ rather than with dignity and fair support.
We believe this needs to change.

๐ฃ๐๐ฒ | ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ ๐๐๐ถ๐ฐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฌ, an initiative by Shivang Foundation โ Nritya Grha, was created as a response to this growing gap. The word เค
๐ฃ๐๐ฒ means unconquered and enduring โ reflecting the spirit of art and culture that continues to survive despite changing times. The initiative is envisioned as a recurring six-edition annual cultural platform with two equally important purposes:
- To create meaningful and sustainable performance opportunities for emerging artists
- To gradually build audiences by creating enriching and accessible cultural experiences for the community
We believe culture survives only when both artists and audiences grow together.
เค ๐ฃ๐๐ฒ is therefore not simply about organising performances. It is about creating spaces where: - Young artists receive visibility, dignity, and fair remuneration for their work
- Audiences reconnect with Indian classical arts in a meaningful and engaging way
- Communities gather through shared artistic experiences
- Younger generations develop familiarity with their cultural roots organically
- Art becomes accessible, relevant, and emotionally alive again
The successful completion of the first edition strongly reaffirmed the need for such recurring cultural spaces within our community. We are now seeking meaningful partnerships and CSR support to help sustain and expand this initiative through: - Cultural infrastructure development
- Artist support and remuneration
- Community engagement initiatives
- Accessible arts programming
- Long-term cultural ecosystem building
